Down 41.2 lbs and Counting....

I am quite happy to be down another 1.4 lbs this week for a total of 41.2 lbs! I expect I'll be losing quite a bit slower from now on. Over the next couple of weeks I'd be happy to maintain. This coming weekend I'll be out for dinner and a concert Friday and then a party for my birthday on Saturday. Next weekend I'll be out for dinner at least Friday on my actual birthday and then it's Easter weekend. Hey, if I was able to do well over Christmas, Easter should be a piece of cake, right? Ha, cake.

My weekend was wonderful.... I had no concrete plans, so I got to do all the things that make me happy. Friday evening I caught up on my girly shows (90210 and Parenthood), did some laundry, and then Brian came over and we watched Couple's Retreat. Saturday I opened the windows and let the fresh air run through the house as I cleaned the kitchen and front entranceway. I then went for an incredible run. It was a bit chilly out and quite windy, but I ran the 4.5 km route that I do with Val, and only had to stop once to walk for a few minutes. I'll be running a full 5 km in no time! After my run I came back home, took a mini nap, made myself some dinner and settled in to watch a couple movies. I watched 500 Days Of Summer for the first time. I wanted very much to dislike it because it just seems to be so popular with everyone, and I like to be different from time to time! But, everyone was right, this movie is fantastic. I also watched What Happens in Vegas. Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher have horrible chemistry, but this movie always makes me laugh! On Sunday Brian and I went for a drive and checked out the outside of a couple apartments we saw online.... just to see the area they were in... so that was fun. And then we saw Shutter Island. This movie is phenomenal! I LOVED it! Everyone should go see it :-) We went back to Brian's after the movies and made dinner for ourselves and his parents. http://www.kraftcanada.com/en/recipes/foil-packet-southwestern-chicken-dinner-90405.aspx This is the second time we've tried this recipe, and it's just fantastic! Sunday evening we vegged and watched a couple more movies - Year One and Gamer. Both of which we've seen before, but still fun to watch.
