I cannot believe it is going to be +12 today.... this is so great! I'm going to try and spend a lot of time outside this weekend.... soaking up the sun.
Last night Brian and I did some groceries and then went to see an advanced screening of She's Out Of My League. Thanks again Val, for passing the tickets along to us! It was such a funny movie. It reminded me of old school American Pie movie type humor. It's one I'll definitely buy when it comes out.
Here's what we picked up at the grocery store this week:
- red, yellow and green peppers
- onion
- bananas
- kiwis
- steak strips (for stir fry)
- kraft bbq sauce
- jello sugar free pudding (chocolate)
- skim milk
- v8 fusion juice
- granola bars
- 4-cheese pizza
- bacon pizza (190 calories for 1/4 of the pizza!)
Meals for Thursday:
Breakfast - 1pkg. of reduced sugar maple & brown sugar oatmeal, 1 cup of skim milk (210 calories)
Snack - Banana, 2 calcium chews (150 calories)
Lunch - 1/2 can of blue menu low sodium tomato and roasted red pepper soup, 1/2 sesame bagel, apple (310 calories)
Snack - Wholegrain crunchy oat and peanut butter bar (170 calories)
Dinner - 1/6 of a spicy chicken pizza (320 calories)
Snack - 15 wholegrain rice crisps (sea salt flavor), 100 calorie aero bar (290 calories)
Daily Total - 1450 calories, 20 grams of fibre

looks like some good finds for a light grocery shopping! lol i wish our weather wasnt a few days ahead of you sometimes-we have rain all weekend here, but tues-thurs was in the double digits adn glorious!
