Did everyone enjoy St. Patty's Day? I sure did! But I did not go out and celebrate.... I enjoyed a much needed night of sleep! I got home from work and went for a run outside with Val. It was gorgeous out, but again, the wind makes it quite exhausting! I'm feeling my endurance go up a bit though, which is nice. I came home, had dinner, and then the pj's came on! I was in bed, lights out -no joke - by 9pm. I did not sleep well enough on Tuesday night, but now I am feeling well rested and full of energy!
I got screened in for another government job. My second one this year - woo! This is for "various clerical positions," and I go in for the general competency test on March 31st. Fingers crossed that I'm competent!
Meals for Tuesday -
Breakfast: Blue menu dark chocolate bran muffin, 1 cup of skim milk (250 calories)
Snack - 1 cup of strawberries (with splenda), Kiwi, Peach (150 calories)
Lunch - Flax bagel, 2 slices of lean turkey, 1 tbsp. of light mayo, Apple, Diet coke (430 calories)
Snack - Special k fruit crisps - strawberry (100 calories)
Dinner - President's Choice Smokin' Stampede Quesadilla, 1/2 cup of peas (360 calories)
Snack - Mini bag of kettlecorn popcorn, 100 calorie aero singles bar (250 calories)
Daily Total - 1540 calories, 32 grams of fibre
Workout - 30 minute jog, 15 minute cool down walk, 5 minutes of stretching (50 minutes total)
