Surpassing Goals...

I'm so motivated right now! I went to Val's and did the treadmill tonight.... and ran for the first 30 minutes straight.... no stopping! Last week the time to beat was 20 minutes... So I ran the first 23 minutes at level 5.4 and then upped it to 5.6 for the last 7, then walked for 5 minutes, ran for another 5 and then walked 5 more to cool down. I followed this with 5 minutes of stretching (all while watching the hockey game of course!) My legs feel tired though....will definitely sleep well tonight!

I tried one of the treats my parents brought me home from Colorado... the hostess 100 calorie packs of lemon cupcakes.... oh my... let me just tell you.... they are AMAZING! You get 3 cupcakes (mind you they're fairly small) for 100 calories TOTAL. After 1 I was like... this is super sweet and indulgent, I don't even know if I can eat all three! Let's be honest though, of course I did! They're less than 35 calories each! But if something is sweet for me (I have the hugest sweet tooth on earth), then you know it's bound to satisfy yours! Mmmm lemony goodness.

Meals for Wednesday:

Breakfast - 1 cup of kashi oat and honey almond flax cereal, 1 cup of skim milk (300)

Snack - 1 cup of grapes, Banana (210)

Lunch - 1/2 egg salad sandwich (1 slice of oat and honey bread, 1 hard boiled egg, 1 tbsp. light mayo), Apple, 1 sugar free pudding, Diet coke (410)

Snack - Special k fruit crisps (100)

Dinner - 4oz. chicken breast (cooked on the bbq), 1 tbsp. honey garlic bbq sauce, 1 cup of garden salad, 1 tbsp. balsamic fig vinagrette dressing (350)

Snack - Hostess 3-pack of lemon cupcakes (100)

Daily Total - 1470 calories, 23 g. fibre

Workout - 45 minutes on the treadmill, 5 minutes of stretching
