I'm feeling very low energy today. I think I got a fairly good sleep last night, but perhaps it's just the weather that is draining me. It's also the first week back at work since the Christmas holidays, so I'm sure that has a bit to do with it.
Went grocery shopping today and got a ton of healthy foods:
Apples
Bananas
Natural selections turkey lunch meat
12-grain bagels
Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Lean ground beef
100 calorie packs of almonds and trail mix
Low sodium V8 juice
Sugar free pudding
Plain yogurt
Lean cuisines
Frozen pizza
The kitchen cupboards are stocked and I'm feeling healthy. Why can't I have a little energy as well?
I also bought Jillian Michael's 6 week six-pack workout DVD and will be trying that out this weekend. I'll let you know how that goes.
Tonight I'm stopping off at the mall and then watching Brian's jiu jitsu class.
Meals for Wednesday:
Breakfast - Blue menu dark chocolate bran muffin, 1 cup of skim milk (260)
Snack - Silhouette blueberry, blackberry & muesli yogurt, Apple, 2 cups of water (160)
Lunch - 2 slices of bread, 1/2 can of tuna, 1 tbsp. light mayo, Del monte fruit twist, 2 cups of water (370)
Snack - Chocolate caramel granola bar, 1 bottle of V8 juice (210)
Dinner - 1 small burrito with yellow, red and orange peppers, 2 cups of water, Diet coke (325)
Snack - Mini bag of Miss Vickie's chips, 2 Lindor chocolates, 4 cups of water (310)
Total - 1635 calories, 25 g. of fibre, 9 cups of water, 2 fruits, 4 veggies.
