Almost the Weekend!

Not much new to note today.... it's going very well :-) The chicken dinner I made turned out very well. I gave the leftovers to my sister to put in her lunch tomorrow.

I'm having trouble not weighing myself.... I know it's not good to weigh yourself more than once a week because it can become discouraging.... but it's like the scale is calling my name! I know I've done so well this week that I'm dying to see just how well. I have promised myself I'll wait until Monday though.... does anyone else have this problem?

Anyways, plan for tomorrow:

Breakfast: Slimfast meal replacement bar, Banana
Snack: Kiwi
Lunch: 6" Veggie Sub on 9 Grain bun (subway)
Snack: Special K granola bar, sugar free pudding
Dinner: Lean cuisine, Diet coke
Snack: 190 cal bag of popcorn

  1. I surprisingly don't but I am a bit of the opposite: i am generally disappointed when i look at the scale so i dread stepping on it lol. even when i am good my weightless is very slow. everyone is different-but i think it is a good idea to stay away! Make sure it is in a cupboard or something so you arent seeing it all the time

  2. I'm not gonna lie, I pretty much weigh myself every morning... at least on week days. I know that's 'bad' and that your weight fluctuates ~2 pounds a day and it takes more than a day to lose/gain a pound (cause you have to burn/gain however many calories)... but I guess I use it to kind of keep me on track?

I feel that if I only check once a week, I'm not getting a good estimate of my weight, you know? Maybe it's the scientist in me, but with weight fluctuating that much, you might catch it at completely different times each week. So I take more measurements, more often, to get a better overall idea of how my weight does change.

If one day I'm a pound more, I don't let it get me down cause it could just be one of those random fluctuations! At the end of the weekend, I asses where I am compared to last week and go from there.

But I mean, what works for me, might not work for you! I think so long as you can keep yourself away from really obsessing about what ever number is on the scale, you should be fine weighing yourself every day.
